Section R908.3.1.1 is titled 'Roof recover not allowed' and covers requirements for roof coverings. A list of scenarios where additional roof coverings may not be added on top of existing roof coverings is established. The purpose of this section is to protect the structure from weather and prevent roof coverings from detaching from the roof assembly.
