Section 905.8.9 is titled 'Label required' and covers requirements for roof coverings. The requirement for each bundle of wood shakes to be labeled as having been inspected for grading is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent water damage to the building.

The model shows a package of wood shakes which contains a label in conformance with this section.
