R703.6.2

Section 703.6.2 is titled 'Weather exposure' and covers requirements for exterior wall coverings. A cross-reference to a table in this code which lists the maximum allowed exposure to weather for wood shakes and shingles, dependent on their length is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent water and wind damage to the building.
