Section 703.13 is titled 'Insulated vinyl siding' and covers requirements for exterior wall coverings. The requirement for insulated vinyl siding to be certified and labeled by an approved quality control agency as conforming to a standard is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent water, wind, and hail damage to the building, slow the spread of fire, and assure a minimum insulation value.
