Section R703.10 is titled 'Fiber cement siding' and covers the requirements for the manufacturing and installation of fiber cement siding on the outside of exterior walls. This section does not have any language, but has subsections which cover technical details of fiber cement siding. The purpose of this section is to prevent fiber cement siding from detaching from the wall framing and premature degradation from water intrusion through exterior walls into a building.
