R609.4

Section R609.4 is titled 'Garage doors' and covers the requirements for garage vehicle doors. One or another standard that a garage door must be tested to, and a standard that it shall meet the acceptance criteria of is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural and operational failure of a garage door.
