R607.4.1

Section R607.4.1 is titled 'Exterior standard-unit panels' and covers requirements for wall construction. The requirement for exterior glass masonry standard-unit panels to be a maximum size when subject to no more than a certain design wind pressure, to adjust the size in accordance with a figure in this code where subject to wind exceeding a certain design pressure, and for panels to be structurally supported at a maximum dimension is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
