R602.10.1.4

Section R602.10.1.4 is titled 'Angled walls' and covers requirements for wall construction. The method for determining required braced wall panel lengths in angled walls, dependent on the length of the angled wall is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.

The model shows a braced wall line plan which includes a highlighted angled wall which does not exceed 8', a separately highlighted braced wall panel in the angled wall, and a measurement overlay with arrows showing that the braced wall panel length is measured perpendicular to the braced wall line (not inline with the angled wall).
