R601.2

Section R601.2 is titled 'Requirements' and covers the requirements for wall structural loading. A reference to another section of the code which lists minimum design loads, the ability of the wall to accommodate all imposed loads, and to transmit loads to its supporting construction is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
