R507.2.5

Section R507.2.5 is titled 'Alternate materials' and covers the requirements for the allowance of use of alternative materials. The allowance for the use of other materials, such as glass and metal, for the construction of decks is established. The purpose of this section is to clarify that it is not the intention of this section of the code to exclude such materials.
