R404.1.3

Section R404.1.3 is titled 'Concrete foundation walls' and covers the requirements for concrete foundation wall construction. The section of this code or other standards which a concrete foundation wall must conform to, dependent on the type of wall construction the foundation is supporting as well as applicability limits of another section of this code, and clarification that a design professional stamp is not required when using any of these design standards, unless specifically mandated by state law, is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure.
