R403.4

Section R403.4 is titled 'Footings for precast concrete foundations' and covers the requirements for precast concrete foundation wall footing materials, size, and installation. The subsections that govern footings for precast concrete foundation walls is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent structural failure. Crushed stone footings and concrete footings are covered in separate subsections.
