R324.2

Section R324.2 is titled 'Solar thermal systems' and covers requirements for solar energy systems. A cross-reference to another section of this code that solar thermal systems shall comply with is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent fires, lack of access to a roof for fire response operations and system maintenance, interference with other systems, structural failure, explosions, implosions, freezing, use of toxic chemicals, and potable water contamination.
