R317.1

Section R317.1 is titled 'Location required' and covers the requirements for determining where and how wood and wood-based products must be protected from decay. Methods of decay protection and seven locations that are considered to be subject to decay is established. The purpose of this section is to reduce premature degradation of wood and wood-based products.
