R315.7.1

Section R315.7.1 is titled 'General' and covers requirements for systems which detect and warn of carbon monoxide (CO) accumulation. A cross-reference to another code which household CO systems must comply with, and a cross-reference to a standard which CO detectors shall be listed is established. The purpose of this section is to require household CO systems and detectors to conform to a specific code and standard.
