R315.2.1

Section R315.2.1 is titled 'New Construction' and covers the requirements for providing carbon monoxide alarms. Elements which exist in newly constructed dwellings, which cause carbon monoxide alarms to be required is established. The purpose of this section is to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
