R303.9.1

Section R303.9.1 is titled 'Sunroom additions' and covers requirements for positioning openable glazing required by this code. The allowance for required glazed openings to open into a sunroom addition, provided the addition has walls greater than a specific percentage open or screened and a minimum ceiling height is established. The purpose of this section is to allow for sunroom additions of a certain design to be added to a dwelling without requiring the existing layout of the required openings of the dwelling to be changed.
