Section R302.10.3 is titled 'Cellulosic fiber loose-fill insulation' and covers requirements for burning characteristics of insulation. The standard by which cellulosic fiber loose-fill insulation must conform and labeling of packaging is established. The purpose of this section is to slow the spread of fire and limit the amount of smoke in the event of a fire.
