R301.2.2.10

Section R301.2.2.10 is titled 'Anchorage of water heaters' and covers requirements for seismic design. A cross-reference to another section of this code which covers anchorage of water heaters, where such water heaters are installed in seismic design categories D₀, D₁, and D₂ is established. The purpose of this section is to prevent water heaters from moving and tipping over.
