Section G2413 is titled 'Pipe Sizing' and covers the requirements for designing fuel gas piping systems with pipe sized to provide gas in sufficient quantities to all appliances. The purpose of this section is to prevent flame out, incomplete combustion, appliance malfunction, and similar hazardous conditions.

The model mirrors Figure A.6.1 in Appendix A, which provides examples of how to size gas piping using different methods. Breaks in the piping are provided in order to see all the pipe size changes in a single view.
