Section N1103.7 is titled 'Equipment sizing and efficiency rating (Mandatory)' and covers requirements for energy efficiency. A cross-reference to 2 standards by which heating and cooling equipment must be sized and the building load calculated, as well as a requirement for the efficiency rating of equipment to follow federal law is established. The purpose of this section is to mandate requirements for heating and cooling system energy efficiency.
