N1102.1

Section N1102.1 is titled 'General (Prescriptive)' and covers requirements for energy efficiency. The sections of this chapter that the building thermal envelope must comply with is established. The purpose of this section is to clarify the application of this code for the building thermal envelope. This section has 2 exceptions which exempt the building from needing a thermal envelope. The purpose of these exceptions is to allow for certain types of buildings to not be required to conform with the listed range of sections.
