Section N1101.3 is titled 'Compliance materials' and covers requirements for energy efficiency. The ability for the Building Official to allow for external tools and information, which are designed to demonstrate compliance with chapter 11 is established. The purpose of this section is to clarify that tools and information from outside this code may be used to show design compliance with Chapter 11, where allowed by the Building Official.
