Chapter 6 Overview

Chapter 6 is titled 'Water Supply and Distribution' and covers the transfer of water from its source to the point of end-user access. The purpose of this chapter is to prevent the spread of disease, explosions, scalding, water hammer, inadequate pressure, and disruption of water supply, as well as to provide requirements for minimum quantity, water conservation, and an efficacious and efficient system.
