Chapter 9 Overview

Chapter 9 is titled 'Specific Appliances, Fireplaces and Solid Fuel-Burning Equipment' and covers a wide range of different types of appliances and assemblies, each with their unique attributes. The purpose of this chapter is to prevent inhalation hazards, fires, explosions, burns, equipment from falling, and from being installed in hazardous locations.
